First of all, sorry I haven’t posted in a while. It’s been hectic. Home improvement projects, VFW projects, work projects, and various interruptions here and there. Built some screens for the front windows, applied a heat reflective film onto the large stairwell window (that was harder than it needed to be). Cleaned up the garage, fixed the can crusher. Fixed the pool, helped out one of my former troops who was having a spot of trouble… the list goes on and on. I even had a birthday! (Scary, I know!)
However, I have also managed to get back to writing. With Path to Freedom’s lackluster performance, I’m returning to the more mainstream of my publisher’s genre, Military Fantasy. I’d previously written about 30K words in a follow on book for Fae Wars: Futures Past, tentatively named Sugha’s March. It’s told from the POV of one of the Orcs from FWFP, as he escapes from his Elven masters. It’s a great story, in my humble opinion, and I finally have the go ahead to write the rest of it from the series’ primary author, Lucas Markum.
Once I get closer to finishing, I’ll start posting chapters here on Substack, just like I did for Path to Freedom. I am undecided on whether to make them for paid subscribers only, or just leave them free for everyone. And again, as the publication date arrives, I will have to remove all but a couple chapters from Substack, due to KDP rules.
In the meantime, check out Cannon Publishing’s website as they’ve got a bunch of new books out, by some really good authors!
I hope you guys continue to follow my journey! And as always, thank you for your support!
